HMC GAMES
The history of the HMC studio goes back to the end of the 1980s, when Petr Klvaฤ (Peter Winston) and Filip Oลกฤรกdal (Fred Brooker) met in the elementary school, they liked playing games, their own creations, and they founded the game studio Hero Music Company (HMC).
Together they created a lot of demos, mostly audio, and two games for Atari 8-bit computers (Microx, Brutal Recall). Later, Fred Brooker participated in the projects 7 Days 7 Nights and Fish Fillets, Summer with Oskar, UFO: Aftershock or Worms Realtime.
During the 1990s, the founders met again and the entire studio was assimilated into the Pterodon team that created Hesperian Wars, Flying Heroes, and the Vietcong series. They also participated in the games Mafia 2 or Project Cars.
HMC also created games for Amiga computers โ the phenomenal Achtung Die Kurve and the text adventure game Dungeon Demons in collaboration with other authors.
Worth mentioning are the games Tetris (1989), Brutal Recall (1992), the sampled DigiSynth (1993) or the music for the diskette Amiga Guru Magazรญn. Achtung Die Kurve still holds its fans and has been ported by them for the web or Android, Fish Fillets has been ported to Linux, Mac and Android.
